As such, they’re an integral part of the construction process. The lead time for each shop drawing project will depend on the scale of the project, the complexity of the shop drawings themselves, and if there are multiple scopes of work to be drafted. In general, the lead time for an average shop drawing will range between 7 to 10 business days.
