About The Client

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Grace Herbert Curtis Architects aimed to infuse the project with a sense of youthfulness and fun through the use of bright colors. As part of the design, they incorporated a variety of panels and colors throughout the buildings, using Kingspan Morin Matrix MX 1.0, Kingspan Morin Matrix MX 4.0, and Pac-Clad Flush Soffit Panels in six different colors. The project consists of two buildings connected by a courtyard featuring a uniquely designed Standing Seam Metal roof, as shown in the accompanying photos.

The Solutions

To address the project's complexities, we collaborated closely with the design team, contractors, and manufacturers from the early stages. This ensured that the best solutions were identified for using four different wall panel profiles in six colors.

Accurate takeoffs were achieved through rigorous planning and multiple reviews, minimizing errors despite long lead times. We maintained consistent communication with the on-site team, providing detailed instructions and regular updates to ensure proper installation per the takeoff and shop drawings. To manage deliveries and inventory effectively, we implemented a meticulous scheduling system that prioritized timely material arrivals and coordinated shared equipment usage.
